General Association Meeting - Sept. 25 @ 6pm

Please join us at our first general association meeting of the school year for the Secrets of Success at Sage Creek presentation.  English teacher, Corrie Myers, and student will be presenting, offering tips to navigating all that's offered at Sage Creek.  Sarah Hunter will also be giving an overview of the Genius Project program. 

Students & Parents will learn first-hand how to navigate & optimize the Sage Creek experience.  Topics include: 

  • Strategies & Study Skills for Best Results
  • Managing the fast pace of the Trimester
  • Parent tips on how to best support your student

We look forward to seeing you there on September 25, 2019 at 6PM in the Sage Creek Cafeteria.


Career Chat

Bobcat Career ChatCome join us for our first Career Chat of the year about Military careers.  Free Pizza and drinks will be provided.  Join us on Thursday, September 19 at lunchtime in the Counseling Center, bldg 3000.

We are limited to 40 students.  RSVP is required. 


Stephen TobaisMilitary Career Chat Speaker

Stephen Tobias

He enlisted in the Navy September 1979 and retired in April of 2009.  His job in the navy was in engineering, on board multiple ships, with his specialty as Gas Turbine Engines and Control Systems.  Mr. Tobias began his career at the lowest rank in the navy and rose to one of the most prestigious officer ranks in the navy, Chief Warrant Officer - a technical expert in engineering.

Culinary Dish:    Parmesan, Basil, & Chicken Pasta

Sign up now.  Limited to 15 students.  

In this PTSA-sponsored hands-on cooking class taught by Dietitian, Anne Metzger, students will prepare a Parmesan, Basil & Chicken pasta dish.  Afterward, students get to keep the recipe to prepare it again at home and share with friends and family.

About the instructor:  Anne Metzger is the mother of three (one is SCHS graduate!).  She was educated as a dietitian at UC Davis and Yale New Haven Hospital.  She aims to promote healthy living and the enjoyment of nutritious, delicious foods.  She hopes that cooking together at Sage Creek gives each student more confidence in the kitchen, a desire to eat wholesome foods, and a delicious recipe to prepare with others.
