Job Opportunities:

La Costa Glen in Carlsbad is hiring for part-time positions. No experience is required, students must work just two evenings each week and one day or evening each weekend with more hours available. Plenty of opportunity for growth and a great entry point into the restaurant business. For more information review the flyer.

LEGOLAND California is opening and is looking to hire students for the upcoming summer season. Positions available include Retail Associates, Attractions Associates, Food & Beverage Associates, Hotel Hosts, Bussers, Runners and Stewards, Admissions Associates, and Lifeguards. SeaWorld and Aquatica WaterPark are gearing up for their hiring season for their summer opportunities and have scheduled a series of virtual recruitment events for students interested in a job! Summer Opportunities:

San Diego State University: Creative Mind Academy Summer Institute: The Creative Mind Academy (CMA) is a Summer institute for high school students in grades 11 and 12 from the US and all over the world. Over the course of 4 weeks, students complete 6 transferable college units at San Diego State University’s (SDSU) beautiful campus. Programming consists of theory-based, and hands-on courses that prioritize experiential learning and creative expression. Program runs from July 5 - July 25th, visit the SDSU CMA website for more information and to apply.

UC Davis Young Scholars Program: Summer research opportunities primarily in the biological and natural sciences for rising juniors and seniors. Participants will work remotely with research faculty and research groups to participate in a virtual symposium. Study Abroad Opportunities:

Asse International Student Exchange Programs: Asse programs allow students to study abroad in another country during high school.
