Financial Aid and Scholarship Information



In the 2019-2020 school year SCHS students were the recipients of over 27 local scholarships. It PAY$ to take the time to research scholarship opportunities and apply! The SCHS Counseling department will list current scholarships below. In addition, students should check the Scholarships tab in Naviance for many other opportunities based on specific criteria. Make sure you are aware of how to avoid scholarship scams.

Current Scholarships:

  1. Omega Psi Phi, Student Essay contest, due Sept. 30th (local instructions)
  2. Districts Make the Difference video contest, due Sept. 30th
  3. Coca Cola Scholars program, due Oct. 31st 
  4. Elks Most Valuable Student Contest, due Nov. 15th
  5. Simon Youth Scholarships (multiple) due, Feb. 17th
