**PFT SUSPENSION NOTICE**

For those who have not yet passed the PFT requirement, the state has suspended it for the school year of 2020-2021.  This will not affect graduation requirements for Senior.

PFT Administration

On September 18, 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom signed into law SB 820. SB 820 prescribes that, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic and the need to comply with state and local health guidelines, the administration of the physical performance test shall be suspended for the 2020–21 school year. Therefore, the PFT will not be required to be administered and the CDE will not be collecting PFT data for the 2020–21 school year.

For more information you can visit https://www.cde.ca.gov/ta/tg/pf/

We will wait for further instructions from the state for the following school year (2021-2022) regarding if it PFT will be reinstated.
