Varsity Head Coach Madison McLean

Coach Madison grew up playing soccer in Bend, Oregon. She played for Oregon Rush. Her club team won many titles in the state and played in tournaments around the country including Surf Cup, Far West Regionals, and Manchester United Cup. In 2011, her club team were semi-finalists at the Far West Regional Championships. Madison also played for the Oregon Olympic Development Program (ODP) from 2007-2011 where she was captain all 5 years. She played as the state’s center midfielder. In 2012 Madison graduated from Mountain View High School. There, she was named MVP in the 2010 and 2011 season. During her senior year of high school, Madison played in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL) on a semi-pro team in Bend, Oregon. During this summer league, Madison also served the team as their captain. After graduating from high school, Madison played on a scholarship for Western Oregon University, a DII school in Monmouth, OR. She started as center back. 

In 2012, Madison coached a U-10 girls team for the Bend FC Timbers. While pursuing her Bachelor’s in Education at Concordia University in Portland, Madison coached for the Eastside Timbers. She started as an assistant in 2014 for a U-12 girls team, and by 2015, Madison was the head coach.

Madison moved to SoCal in winter of 2016. She began teaching full time in 2017 as a math teacher for Sage Creek. 

As a young coach, Madison finds the connections between her and the players come naturally, which she uses to her advantage. She is looking forward to seeing the players grow as individuals and athletes. Madison intends to cultivate a positive and memorable season for the Bobcats!

JV Head Coach Jasmin Day

Coach Jasmin finds coaching very rewarding and enjoys watching her players grow into themselves as strong players as well as great people off the field. She finds that being a young coach gives her the opportunity to relate with her players in a way that allows for her to demand the best out of them. Her favorite Club team is Real Madrid. In her free time she enjoys playing in local women’s leagues.
