Girls Soccer

20-21 Season Update: 

CIF has postponed the start of the soccer season to Feb. 22.  Soccer tryouts will be held the week of February 22, if our county has reach the red tier.  Soccer will be permitted to conduct tryouts and hold practices once we are in the red tier.  We will be able to start competitions once we are in the orange tier.   More information will be sent out to athletes and families as we get closer.  To ensure that you receive these message make sure you are registered for girls soccer through

Varsity Head Coach Jessica Montiel

Coach Jessica grew up playing soccer in north county San Diego. She graduated from Rancho Buena Vista high, where she was awarded the 2002 golden boot. After high school, Coach Jessica went on to play at Cochise College, a junior college in Douglas,Az. While at Cochise College, Jessica was the leading goal scorer, and named offensive player of the year. She was named to the 1st team all-conference / all-region team. Coach Jessica transferred to Eastern New Mexico University,(ENMU) a DII in Portales, NM. 


In 2011, Jessica joined the Oceanside Breakers coaching staff, and has served as both a head and assistant coach. Jessica is also part of the Oceanside Breakers rec development program, where she helps develop both players and coaches. Jessica helps coach the G2000, who were the 2016 National Cup Champions. Along with mentoring female coaches she helps run the clubs social media pages. She comes to us from Oceanside high, where she coached at both the freshman and junior varsity level since 2010. While at OHS she was on staff for the varsity team, they won 4 consecutive league titles. Before coaching at OHS, she coached the freshman girls at Rancho Buena Vista High. 


Coach Jessica has a passion for making connections with her players on and off the field. She believes connecting with her players maximizes the potential of both the athlete, and coach. Jessica lives in Escondido, with her husband Jose and their two children, Alyssa (2) and their newest addition, Mateo who was born in June.

Varsity Asst Coach Jasmin Day


Coach Jasmin finds coaching very rewarding and enjoys watching her players grow into themselves as strong players as well as great people off the field. She finds that being a young coach gives her the opportunity to relate with her players in a way that allows for her to demand the best out of them. Her favorite Club team is Real Madrid. In her free time she enjoys playing in local women’s leagues.
