School of Choice

It is the intent of the Carlsbad Board of Trustees that both Sage Creek High School and Carlsbad High School be schools of choice. This means that students/families who reside within the Carlsbad Unified School District boundaries will have the opportunity to select which of the high schools they would like to attend. No school boundaries will be drawn.

WEEKLY CAMPUS TOURS

Tours will take place on Wednesdays from May 29 through June 26.

Logistics for Sage Creek High School Tours

  • 3:45 p.m. ­ 4:30 p.m.
  • Led by Mr. Morales, Principal, or Mr. Brown, Counselor
  • Vests, hard hats, or work boots are NOT REQUIRED
  • We will meet at the bottom of the stairs in front of the drop off circle (SEE MAP)

9th Grade Course Request Process

The Sage Creek 9th grade course request process is in full swing.

If you were unable to attend one of the counselor presentations the week of April 8th regarding the course request process,

  1. please view the presentation PowerPoint for guiding information (Click here)
  2. click on the course selection resource links to the right under Future Bobcats! to guide your course selections
  3. download a copy of the 9th Grade Course Request Form (CRF) also on the right

Students who are new to CUSD need to enroll for Sage Creek High School to begin the course request process.  Please visit the CUSD website at http://www.carlsbadusd.k12.ca.us/enrl-hs.html to obtain the required Enrollment documents. In addition to the required forms please provide your student's transcript or last grade report and recent standardized test results.

You have until Friday April 19, 2013 at 3 pm to turn in your completed and signed Course Request Form. You may turn it into Sage Creek HS Counseling Dept. at Sage Creek HS or your middle school counselor.
